Olazzo
Open since October 2007, our Silver Spring location started out as a venture to bring OLAZZO to the owner's childhood home. Opening on a little traversed stretch of Georgia Avenue, south of the newly developed downtown Silver Spring, many doubted a restaurant could survive at a location where others had failed.
A year-long rebuild performed by the brothers and their mason father turned a worn storefront into an inviting space that Silver Spring has embraced and supported with their continued patronage. OLAZZO Silver Spring features a twelve seat marble bar and cocktail area as well as a separate secluded dining room. The bar is a popular spot for local sports in a relaxed environment and a great after work destination for our weekly drink specials and happy hour.
The dining room is available for reservations as well as room rentals for special events. Parking is available at the Wayne Avenue parking garage, metered street parking on Georgia Avenue and Thayer Avenue, and public metered parking at Fenton St. Village public parking lot. OLAZZO is metro accessible from the Silver Spring metro station.
