Busboys and Poets @ Brookland is located in the artistic and historical neighborhood of Brookland in Northeast D.C. We are conveniently on the red line just steps from Brookland-CUA Metro Station (located at Monroe & 9th Street near Michigan Avenue). Brookland was integrated in the 1930’s and has been called home by many prominent African Americans like Tony- and Grammy-winning singer Pearl Bailey, whom our event space is named after.
